l am a professional graphic designer with over 25 years experience in the creative field of visual communication. l live and work along the scenic Zürisee, Switzerland.
Biography
I studied graphic design at the respected Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland (UK; Bachelor’s degree with Honours). Throughout my Graphic Design training, l exhibited my work at high profile locations including Covent Garden in London and the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.
After graduating, I took a position as the in-house graphic designer for the UK’s largest sports retailer, where my design work ranged from print and packaging graphics to sports-wear brands and apparel. One of the highlights I truly enjoyed was to work as the brand designer for one of the top British tennis players.
After moving to Switzerland, l became a founding member of the English language lifestyle magazine CREAM. I remained its Art Director until 2005, when I launched Seaglass, my own design studio, where I continue to enjoy creating, developing and visually translating ideas…
Blending 25 years expertise in graphic design, with my 20 years of self-development and spiritual growth, has recently enabled me to expand my creative offerings to giving workshops and online-courses – all with the intention to helping people connect to the flow of life, to listen to their inner voice, and walk their path with confidence, and clarity.
Interests
Parallel to my passion for art & design, l enjoy spending time outdoors, as l believe fresh air helps to rejuvenate the creative mind. Another source of creative energy renewal which l am finding highly stimulating is dance – learning the intricate steps of ballroom and Latin is proving to be lots of fun, as well as being the perfect outlet for further visual and creative self-expression.
l also take pleasure in writing, cooking, travel, practicing meditation, Pilates training, listening to music, attending concerts, visiting exhibitions, and spending quality-time with close friends & family. All of which nurture my creative spirit.
