SDG white paper / RWG climate change “green” paper: design projects

Commissioned by The Rail Working Group to design the layout and visuals for a white paper with the core argument, “Promoting sustainable growth and combating global climate change: How the Luxembourg Rail Protocol to the Cape Town Convention supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals”, led to the creation of various infographics – presenting data with a clear and conceptual approach.

Much to the delight of the client, the SDG white paper design layout (along with its visual concepts) swiftly and effectively lent itself as the basis for the RWG climate change “green” paper – highlighting further the climate-friendly advantages of rail.

To engage and guide the reader with design balance using words, infographics, colour treatment, combined with rail symbolism acting as a “red thread” through-out, reflects the strength, flexibility and power of visual messaging across a broad spectrum of communication mediums.

l highly enjoyed working on both papers, not only from a creative point of view, yet also from the purposeful perspective of contributing my professional design skills to the global climate change dialogue.
